Giveaway & Freebie...The artist formally known as...?

$25 TPT Gift Certificate

&

$25 Credit for Ink n Little Things Store

I've been considering changing my store name for many, many months. I LOVE my little octopus icon guy but the name has always left a little to desire for me, something to do with the 'n' has always made me a bit batty, lol. There are lots of reasons to leave the name the same and one big reason to change it. I'd love to hear the opinion of my fans!

I starting playing around with a new store name and catch phrase. I Heart Foxy Art - Make it clever, make it cute! What do you think?

Here are some foxes I've been playing around with. :)

The only required entry is answering the question, "Do you think I should keep my old store name or go for the new?"! I'd love to hear your reasons or thoughts behind your opinion in the comment you leave, but it isn't necessary to enter. The other entries are optional to have a better chance of winning. If you already like me or follow my store or blog be sure you claim the extra entries! If not get busy showing me some love to gain additional entries. :)

I've uploaded a quick Christmas freebie to Dropbox for everyone to download. I so love Christmas and 'Tis just about the Season! Enjoy the freebie frames and papers!

  2. I like your cute octopus and current name, but the foxes are adorable! I especially like the curled up one. No wonder you can't decide!

  3. Maybe a little tweak of your current store name? Like Octavia's Ink? Dilemmas, dilemmas!

  5. That's a hard one! I love your current name and logo but the foxy name is very cute, clever and catchy! Still if I had to choose I think I'd stay with your current name.

  6. I love your current name! The foxes are totally cute, though. I love the one with a book!

  8. I hope you keep your current name because I think of your clip art when I see an octopus. Maybe you could change the 'n in the current name?? Your foxes are so cute!

  9. I like the new name that you have come up with. It is super cute and fun. The teacher fox is really, really cute. I'd say she is my favorite! It would be hard to change everything though. What about your graphics that have already been used in a product and credited to "Ink 'n' Little Things?"

    1. Good question, thanks for asking. It would be hard for me to change all of my previews, blog, etc. but I wouldn't expect customers to change any credits. To me the crediting is mostly about claiming copyright. They'd still be copyright by me either way. :)

  10. I really love your unique image and name~ you are the only artist I have PURCHASED from on TpT! I think you should keep the name you have...there are several other "fox" clipart creators out there..but you are the only octopus I know!

  11. I love your store name! The foxes are super sweet, though. I wonder if you changed it to the fox you might have the same dilemma a year from now. I love the idea of including your real name as well. I think you should keep your name as is since that is what everyone knows, and it's not linked to the octopus. You can still be Ink n Little Things by name but change your logo/icon. Ultimately it is your (very tough) decision. Good luck! I have been LOVING your fall kids and frames. They already made it into my products!

  15. I say keep it...its soooo cute and inviting- especially drawing the eyes of elem teachers. I'm going to quote my mom on this one- the grass may appear greener on the other side, but you don't know what dog's been walking there too! Changing your name may appear like a good idea- but how are customers going to find you? Just the other day I was doing a clip art search and an image of yours I had saved on my computer popped up and I said- oh- that's from the cute little octopus store!

  16. DEFINITELY keep it Ink n Little Things!

  28. I like the "Foxy" name, but if you feel very established with the current name, I don't think it would be worth the trouble to change.

  29. I like the link between the octopus and ink. It's catchy, but I'd say go with your gut.

  31. I LOVE the octopus and it is what originally drew me to your store. The fox is VERY VERY cute but the octopus is cuter (in my opinion)!
