The answers resoundingly say to keep my current name. I think this is for the best. I have decided to keep my little octopus guy! I'd miss him anyway, lol. I have also decided to open two new graphics shops on Etsy, with a slightly different focus. So if you run across I Heart Foxy Art or Foxy Blogs on the web or while shopping at Etsy, know it's me! :)  Don't worry, I'll still be devoting time to my teacher clip art shop! It's where my heart is! It will likely be some time before the other shops are both up and running, no rush. Thanks again everyone and have a wonderful week!

    I've been considering changing my store name for many, many months. I LOVE my little octopus icon guy but the name has always left a little to desire for me, something to do with the 'n' has always made me a bit batty, lol. There are lots of reasons to leave the name the same and one big reason to change it. I'd love to hear the opinion of my fans!

     I starting playing around with a new store name and catch phrase. I Heart Foxy Art - Make it clever, make it cute! What do you think? 

Here are some foxes I've been playing around with. :) 

     The only required entry is answering the question, "Do you think I should keep my old store name or go for the new?"! I'd love to hear your reasons or thoughts behind your opinion in the comment you leave, but it isn't necessary to enter. The other entries are optional to have a better chance of winning. Something Old, Something New

Something new! I've been working on premade TPT shop banners for YOU! Now it will be easy to dress up your store or get a new look. I will personalize these for you with your shop name and special message. All you have to do is upload them to TPT. You can even link your side banner to a specific product with a message like 'My bestseller!'. Pretty neat!

Something old! I'm working on revising my Simple Shapes Frames. I had some ideas on improving this product, so if you've already purchased this be on the lookout for a revision to download free soon. There will be some new frames added! I'll be sure to put the word out when this is complete. :)

While my blog is still new, my TPT store has reached 500 followers! To celebrate this milestone I'd like to give something back. Hopefully I did everything right! :)

I've been working on sprucing up my store and blog this summer. I still have quite a list of things to accomplish but I have been able to check some things off. (You know how good that feels!) See those nifty social media icons to the right? I made those! And for an even bigger feat, I learned how to install them. My store mascot got a bit of a makeover too. I hope you like my new octopus icon! :)

I've also been having fun playing around with some new software this summer. Sometimes we adults learn best by play too! I took the plunge and signed up to Creative Cloud, so I've been playing with Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Illustrator and InDesign are neat programs with big learning curves (at least for me!). I hope everyone else has had a fun and productive summer too!
